Chartreuse is out of stock!

I went to K and L wine merchants in Hollywood today. When I tried to buy a bottle of Chartreuse they told me it wasn't available. Apparently those monks only produce a limited amount and it goes first to upscale bars and restaurants. Tragedy! Now I can't make those famous cocktails such as " Last word", " Bijou" and " Death in the afternoon." I wish those monks would expand production because without those beautiful green and yellow elixirs life is really tough!
